Nothing extra begins until you agree. If parts or more bench time are needed, the plan is updated first.

Repairs start from £25 and are quoted and approved before work begins. A complete setup is a fixed £65 and an electronics service is £40; the full plan is confirmed for your guitar before repair starts.
Do you collect and return the guitar?
Yes. Collection and return are available across London and are arranged as part of the repair plan before work begins.
How long does a repair take?
Most standard repairs and setups are turned around in 3–4 days from pickup to delivery. If a repair needs parts on order or extra bench time, we'll tell you the timeline when we quote.
Will I know the cost before you start?
Always. We assess your guitar, send you a clear quote, and only begin once you've approved it. No hidden fees, no work you didn't agree to.
Do you restore vintage guitars or do nitrocellulose refinishing?
Yes. Otto specialises in renovating high-value vintage guitars, including vintage-appropriate nitrocellulose paint finishing — era-faithful, painstaking work that few technicians offer. He also builds and repairs hand-carved archtop guitars, a rare and highly specialised craft. Get in touch to discuss your instrument and we'll advise on the right approach before any work begins.
Can I have my guitar looked at in person?
Yes, by appointment — we offer free in-person consultations with Otto at Sixty Sixty Sounds, 28 Denmark Street, London WC2H 8NJ, on the city's iconic guitar row. Otherwise we can assess and quote once we collect from your door.
